Does it actually work?
Customers ring us, actual phone calls, to say they have stopped breaking out for the first time in years. Hypochlorous acid is the same molecule hospitals use on open wounds: that gentle, that effective.
Why not just shower when I get home?
Still shower. Sanora is for the gap before it. Sweat sits on your face for the 30 minutes or so between your last set and the shower, and acne-causing bacteria feed on it the whole way home. That is when sweat pimples start. A few sprays before you leave the gym kill that bacteria on contact, so your shower finishes the job instead of showing up too late.
Isn't this just the cheap HOCl spray I can buy online?
Same molecule. Completely different product. The cheap bottles are low-strength, made for surfaces, and unstable. Hypochlorous acid breaks down with heat, light and air, so a clear plastic bottle riding around in a hot gym bag turns into plain salt water within weeks. Is there any research behind hypochlorous acid?
Yes, and it is on this page. Two randomised controlled trials and a 2025 clinical review are summarised above, each linked to its source, with the sample sizes and the limitations printed underneath them. Those are published studies of the molecule, not trials of Sanora, and we say so rather than dressing them up as ours.
Can I use it with my current routine?
